Sea Kayaking
The fun and adventure of seakaying in the Kekova Island
region takes you past small islands and to an ancient ship yard before paddling over an ancient, sunken Lycian city. The unrivaled natural beauty and unique ancient castle perched on top of Kale village (Kale Koy) make this trip truly unforgettable.
Material
You kayak in two person kayaks made by Prijon. Every participant gets a paddle, spray skirt, and a life jacket. The price includes material, guide, snack, lunch and excludes the drinks.
Participants
The participants of this trip do not need kayak experience. Stepping in and out of your kayak, when the kayak has flipped you are able to get out of it. You do not need to be able to make an Eskimo roll. The group has minimum of 6 and maximum of 18 participants. We kayak according the sea kayak rules.
Itinerary:
11:00 Introduction to Kayaks.(30 min)
13:00 Tersane Bay; swimming, snack and walking around the ruins.(30 min)
14:00 Kalekoy( Simena); Lunch, walk up to the castle and the see the ruins, paddle around the submerged lycian tombs.
16:30 Paddle back to Ucagiz(45 min)
